Winter in Central New York

First Snow

As hard as it is to believe – Central New York has not experienced a hard frost  yet this year.  We’ve had some 50-60 degree days during the past couple of weeks.  As a matter of fact, some of the trees still have leaves on them.  It looks however as though winter has finally decided to come.

It was really funny to see leaves on top of the snow.   IMG_0609

I guess they finally realized that the warm weather has gone to sleep for the winter.

We received a couple of inches overnight – and it was still covering the ground this morning.

I couldn’t help snapping a couple of pictures during the day.   IMG_0615IMG_0614It really is beautiful!

There is always time to quilt!
